The album was produced by Dave Fortnam (Slipknot, Evanescene etc.) and recorded at the new Godsmack headquarters 30 minutes from Boston. "1000hp" is Godsmack at it's best - groove, power, rough, but there are also reflective tones to be heard here and there.
