Apparently, recording her debut album was a painful process that robbed her of her passion. This experience led Millar on a journey to rediscover the joy of making music - the basis of this song.

Millar explains, "'A Little Bit Of Me' became a mantra that reminded me that I wanted the process to be enjoyable and fulfilling. It reminded me that I didn't have to sacrifice everything, be unkind to myself or suffer pain on the way to making an album for this creative pursuit. It reminded me to enjoy the process in the moment, to do my best without harming myself, and that what I have to give is good enough."

The powerful piano sounds, relaxed guitar and steady drums, combined with her clear vocals, tell the emotive story of trying to reclaim what you've lost after sacrificing so much of yourself. Because in the end, what's the point if you don't love yourself, even after all your hard efforts to succeed?
