Apocalypse (Yellow Neon Vinyl) [LP]

Canadian progressive rock duo Crown Lands have steadily evolved into one of the genre's most ambitious voices and return in 2026 with their most ambitious and mature work to date: "Apocalypse".

For this album, the band worked with renowned producers Nick Raskulinecz and David Bottrill (both known for their work with Rush), whose different approaches shaped the creation of the album. Conceptually, "Apocalypse" is conceived as a self-contained, narrative listening experience, designed in the classic album format and unfolding as a cohesive story in the same universe as their 2023 album "Fearless".

At the center of the album is the 19-minute title track, a sprawling epic that gives the album both musical and narrative support. Ultimately, "Apocalypse" is about change, the end of the old and the uncertain beginning of the new. This theme is not only reflected in the album's science fiction narrative, but also in the development of Crown Lands itself. It shows a band that has fully internalized its vision and is ready to break all previously set boundaries.
