Coral Fang (Red W/ Black Splatter Vinyl) [LP]

Following the success of their second studio album, punk rock band The Distillers signed to Sire Records in 2002. They released their major label debut "Coral Fang" there the following year. The album was primarily influenced by grunge and lyrically inspired by the consequences of Brody Dalle's marriage and the associated media attention. The album spawned three charting singles, "Drain The Blood", "The Hunger" and "Beat Your Heart Out", and was largely well received by critics.

"Coral Fang" featured explicit artwork by Tim Presley, but with many US retailers refusing to sell the album, the band designed an additional "safe" cover. This edition of "Coral Fang" features the original explicit artwork and is available in a limited edition of 5000 individually numbered copies on white vinyl. It also includes an insert.
