To mark the 40th anniversary of "Dancing in the Street", a limited edition white 12" vinyl record will be released containing all the mixes of the song for the first time: The "Clearmountain Mix" and the "Instrumental" were originally the A- and B-sides of the 7-inch single, while the "Steve Thompson Mix", the "Edit" and the "Dub Mix" were all on the original 12-inch single.

Mick Jagger said of the song, "We had a blast recording 'Dancing in the Street' as both the song was recorded in the studio and the video was made in one day. It's really remarkable how we pulled it off. The video is hilarious now. We enjoyed exaggerating it and trying to mimic each other's moves and making it up as we went along. It was the only time David and I have collaborated on anything, which is a real shame."
