Nothing But Thieves returned with their 2023 single "Welcome To The DCC" - a powerful track bursting with self-confidence - and an accompanying video, much to the delight of their many fans. This was followed by the announcement of their fourth album "Dead Club City", which will be released via RCA/Sony Music.

With their new longplayer, Nothing But Thieves open a new, innovative chapter. They deliver a series of songs with their usual socially relevant, clever lyrics and demonstrate their ability to constantly evolve their sound while experimenting with the various genres that have shaped them as a band to date.

With the first single from the album, "Welcome To The DCC", the band premiered on Radio 1 as Clara Amfo's Hottest Record in the World. The track not only represents the band's new, more left-leaning sound, but also offers the very first insight into the cosmos of "DCC" - short for "Dead Club City" - and what fans can expect from the new album. The rock song, which features experimental funk and clear 80s influences, gradually builds up through an initial tension before finally breaking into a huge, soaring chorus with almost cheerful synthesizers, in which the band can be heard singing: "Welcome to the DCC, Dead Club City. All the Heaven, all the time".
