UK superstar Dua Lipa releases her long-awaited third album "Radical Optimism".

The Londoner with Albanian roots took four years after her global success "Future Nostalgia" to complete a follow-up that was at least on a par with it. After all, her second album in 2020 heralded a veritable dance-pop revival and, in addition to Grammy and Brit Awards, also claimed first places around the world.

Last year, Dua Lipa contributed the song "Dance The Night" to the acclaimed soundtrack of the movie "Barbie". The disco-pop smasher was the artist's next mega hit and was nominated for a Golden Globe and a Grammy, among others.

"Houdini", the first single from "Radical Optimism", followed in November 2023. The track shows Dua Lipa at her best and makes it clear that the 28-year-old has refined her formula for success even further. She herself describes Britpop, trip hop and psychedelia as important influences for the new songs. It is fitting that Tame Impala mastermind Kevin Parker, who has also worked with Lady Gaga and Rihanna, is responsible for the production.

We will find out how "Radical Optimism" sounds in its entirety at the beginning of May. So far, everything seems to indicate that Dua Lipa could top the enormous success of her previous albums.
