Nothing Say Nothing" (1982) and hits like "Why?", "Protest And Survive" and "Never Again" - the British hardcore punks Discharge have long since made history. Numerous greats such as Metallica, Anthrax, Machine Head and Soulfly have already paid tribute to the band founded in 1977 by the two brothers Tony and Terry Roberts.

In 2016, the quintet returned with new frontman Jeff "JJ" Janiak and the grenade "End Of Days", a brute full-throttle mix of hardcore, punk and metal. "Jeff was a revelation for us," reflects bassist and original member Roy Wainwright. With him on board, we found our old strength and created an album that exceeded all expectations. "Our brief to ourselves was to keep the songs simple and focus on the trademarks," states the vocalist, who was asked to stay with the band even by die-hard fans after his live debut.
