Lisainfo
Even thirty years later, “Polythene” remains a sharp and direct debut that established Feeder as a fixture in British alternative rock. To mark its 30th anniversary, the gold-certified album is now being released in a completely remastered edition.
The release is available as a 2-CD set. In addition to the original album, the 2-CD set includes the rare 1996 mini-album “Swim”—which was reissued in 2001 as a special full-length version—offering an authentic glimpse into the band’s early sound and songwriting. The inclusion of “Swim” provides additional context for the album’s genesis and makes this 2-CD anniversary edition the most comprehensive release of “Polythene” to date.
