The reunion with Edition Records after three albums on Edition, ECM and We Jazz was recorded during a two-day residency at Bird's Eye in Basel. It's an ambitious retrospective and forward-looking statement, featuring tracks from each album while presenting new material that reflects the evolution of the Enemy sound - a balance between intensity and impressive, refined subtlety.

Kit Downes' remarkable growth in profile has only enriched the trio's dynamic and given Enemy's sound an ever-increasing lyrical character. Petter Eldh and James Maddren, both closely associated with Edition through Eldh's Project Drums and Maddren's numerous Edition collaborations, add their own layers of innovation and depth to this release.
