Fröhliche Weihnachtszeit [CD]  

On "Fröhliche Weihnachtszeit", Tanja Lasch has picked out her personal favorite songs, but one song is particularly close to her heart: "Weihnachten in Familie" is one of my favorites. I have a lot in common with the original by Frank Schöbel and his family. Frank is a family friend who I've known since I was a child. Frank, his children, my parents and I spent many summers together at the Baltic Sea. I loved singing along to this song as a child and it's an honor for me to release it myself now."

With her first Christmas album, Tanja Lasch strikes straight to the heart and once again manages to inspire with her distinctive voice. The release fulfills a great wish for the passionate songwriter and singer: "I want to give people a little joy. And get people in the mood for the most contemplative time of the year."
