Gabrielle Cavassa is a singer and composer of Italian descent, born in California but based in New Orleans. Co-winner of the prestigious International Sarah Vaughan Jazz Vocal Competition 2021, she has won over audiences and critics with her soft, elastic and intimate voice. Gabrielle came into contact with music at a young age when she began collecting, cataloging and obsessively listening to records. Her music reflects influences ranging from Billie Holiday and Amy Winehouse to the hip-hop group Slum Village and Italian opera.
