Their joint recording of Sibelius' Violin Concerto Op. 47 and Beethoven's Romances for Violin and Orchestra Nos. 1 and 2 with the London Philharmonic Orchestra captures the extraordinary artistic energy of the time in exemplary fashion. The two works have been remastered for the first time for this release and cut from the original ½-inch four-track tapes.
