Many years ago, two teenagers, John Ryan and Vincent Volpe, were surprised by the police during a robbery. While Vincent was arrested and spent 16 years in prison, his friend escaped unrecognized. Today, Volpe is the boss of a powerful criminal organization and still wants revenge on Ryan. After robbing Ryan of the basics of his existence, he forces him back onto the streets. Ryan is supposed to collect the rewards for Volpe in high-paying underground fights. When Volpe's girlfriend starts an affair with Ryan, Volpe wants to finish Ryan off at the fights.
