With her debut album "Songs From A Thousand Frames Of Mind", Virginia-born, Los Angeles-based songwriter Kate Bollinger manages to both redefine and refine her craft. Bollinger and her band - which includes Jacob Grissom, Adam Brisbin, Matthew E. White (Sharon Van Etten, Hiss Golden Messenger, Mountain Goats) and Sam Evian (Cass McCombs, Blonde Redhead, Big Thief) - favor the eclectic, melodic and majestic, backing intimate lyricism with classical instrumentation inspired by pop, rock and folk songs of the 1960s.
