"Lily Was Here" is the soundtrack album to the 1989 Dutch drama of the same name (original Dutch title: "De Kassière"), released in 1989 and largely produced and written by British musician David A. Stewart, best known as one half of the pop duo Eurythmics.

The most notable element of the soundtrack is the title track, an instrumental duet that combines Stewart's guitar work with Candy Dulfer's saxophone playing. The track was released as a single and achieved chart success in several countries, including No. 1 in the Netherlands for five weeks, No. 6 in the UK Singles Chart and No. 11 in the US Billboard Hot 100.

In addition to original compositions, the album includes a re-recorded version of the Eurythmics song "Here Comes the Rain Again" from 1984, featuring Annie Lennox on vocals. Virginia Astley also sings on "Second Chance".
