Live At Yoshi's (Friday 29-09-2006) [Blu-ray + 2CD]

Allan Holdsworth was a British fusion/prog-rock guitarist who, over the course of his nearly six-decade-long career, released numerous solo studio and live albums and performed with bands such as Soft Machine, The New Tony Williams Lifetime, and Level 42.

Through his use of highly sophisticated harmonic and melodic concepts, he truly pushed the boundaries of the instrument and inspired many of the world’s greatest guitarists, including Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, John Frusciante, and Tom Morello. Zappa once described him as “one of the most interesting guitarists in the world”—so it’s fair to say that Holdsworth is, in fact, your favorite guitarist’s favorite guitarist.
