Madonna's highly anticipated new album "Confessions II", due in summer 2026, is the sequel to its iconic counterpart "Confessions On A Dance Floor".

Madonna sums up her new album best by quoting the first lines of her song "One Step Away": "People think dance music is superficial, but they're dead wrong. The dance floor is not just a place, it's a threshold: a ritual space where movement replaces language."

Madonna adds: "When Stuart Price and I started working on this album, this was our manifesto:
We need to dance, celebrate and pray with our bodies. These are things we've been doing for thousands of years - they really are spiritual practices. After all, the dance floor is a ritual space. It's a place where you connect - with your wounds, with your fragility. Raven is an art. It's about pushing your limits and connecting with a community of like-minded people.
Sound, light and vibration change our perception and put us in a trance-like state. We don't just hear the repetition of the bass, we feel it.
Our consciousness changes, ego and time are dissolved."
