From 1955, Alice & Ellen Kessler celebrated triumphs at the Paris Lido. In 1959, they took part in the Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson for Germany. This was followed by many feature films in Germany, France and Italy.
In addition to many of their own songs, they also recorded in a trio with Peter Kraus. In the 50s and 60s they were one of the most successful German entertainment exports. This CD contains their great successes as well as some original recordings not previously available on CD.
