Mother [LP]

The Wandering Hearts are a British Americana band known for their enchanting harmonies and heartfelt songwriting, influenced by bands such as Simon & Garfunkel, Fleetwood Mac, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and First Aid Kit.

Their two albums "Wild Silence" (2018) and "The Wandering Hearts" (2021) were critically acclaimed and reached #1 in the UK Americana Charts and over 16 million streams in the UK and USA. Both albums were nominated for UK Album of the Year at the UK Americana Awards.

On their third album, the trio - Tara Wilcox [vocals], A.J. Dean [vocals, acoustic guitar] and Francesca "Chess" Whiffin [vocals, mandolin] - describe a time of growth and change in eleven tracks. "Mother" was written and recorded in the late stages of the pandemic in the back room of one of their houses in a fairly remote part of rural County Durham, with an old piano and some good microphones, amplifiers and a plethora of instruments.
