"No Place of Warmth" isn't just the third album from the Dallas, Texas-based pioneers of "cold school death metal" - it's a declaration, a journey through a graveyard of pain, loss and revenge that morphs into a statement of strength, self-empowerment and self-esteem. Produced and mixed by Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shore), Frozen Soul has taken their repertoire to a new, deadly level.

Tracks like the crushing "Dreadnought" (featuring Devin Swank of Sanguisugabogg) and the anthemic "Killin' Time (Until It's Time to Kill)" convince with a brutality and clarity that the band has only hinted at before.

After world tours with Amon Amarth, Cannibal Corpse and Killswitch Engage, "No Place of Warmth" is the album that will finally secure Frozen Soul's place in American death metal. The closest circle of band members gives the whole thing even more bite: Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance) lets out wild growls on the title track, while Robb Flynn (Machine Head) fires up the war cry of "Invoke War".
