The "Motörhead On Parole Sessions" offer a unique opportunity to experience the legendary, still young band at their first recordings and at the same time celebrate the 50th anniversary of their very first studio recordings, which would later become their fourth album.

This 4-disc box set includes a brand new remix of the original album by Steve Wilson, two CDs of extensive session outtakes - from demo versions to instrumental jams - mixed by Richard Digby Smith, and a Blu-ray of the original album in Atmos.

"On Parole" was Motörhead's very first studio recording from 1975, featuring Larry Wallis on guitar, Phil Taylor and Lucas Fox on drums, and Lemmy on bass and vocals. It is the only Motörhead album with the original line-up.

The album "On Parole", originally completed in 1976, was Motörhead's first recorded material, but was not released until 1979 after initially being withheld by their record label at the time, United Artists. It proved to be the starting point for one of the most important bands in rock history. These early recordings shaped Motörhead's uncompromising sound and marked a turning point for Lemmy, who now became the focus of his own band and - unintentionally - one of the most iconic, influential and celebrated figures in rock music. "On Parole" was finally released in 1979 and became the band's fourth album.

The album had a huge impact on British music culture like few albums before it, bridging the gap from rock to heavy metal and eventually punk. After Lemmy was fired from space/progressive rock legends Hawkwind, he reunited with his old friend Lucas Fox, with whom he shared many passions and beliefs. From this connection, Motörhead was born. Loud, aggressive and provocative - their songs were short, crisp blasts instead of 20-minute guitar solos. They were uncompromising with their audience ... and they loved it.
