Phoebe Bridgers has announced her long-awaited third studio album: “Lost Weekend” will be released via Dead Oceans.

The announcement follows weeks of speculation as well as a series of surprise pop-up concerts in the U.S., which culminated earlier this month in a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden in New York. The newly announced arena tour was also a resounding success: Tickets for North America, the UK, and Germany sold out within hours of going on sale, and the Düsseldorf concert was moved to a larger venue. In total, over 500,000 tickets were sold worldwide within three days.

“Lost Weekend” is Phoebe Bridgers’ first album since her 2020 predecessor “Punisher,” which received multiple GRAMMY nominations. Her acclaimed debut, “Stranger in the Alps,” released shortly after her 23rd birthday, already demonstrated Bridgers’ extraordinary talent for songwriting. With “Punisher,” she impressively lived up to that promise: The album was widely celebrated for its clever, haunting, and at the same time captivating compositions, and it definitively established her as one of the most influential voices of her generation.
