Who would have thought that a few years after Stone Gossard and Mookie Blaylock played their first show as support act for the later band Green Apple Quick Step, GAQS' second album would be recorded in the Pearl Jam guitarist's home studio. But that's exactly what happened... "Reloaded", originally released in 1995, was produced by Gossard and multiple Grammy winner Nick DiDia (Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against The Machine). The album's first single, "Dizzy", was used in the movie "The Basketball Diaries" as well as on its soundtrack - alongside tracks by The Doors, Soundgarden, Jim Carroll and The Cult.
CMJ New Music Monthly wrote that the "alterna-rock promise of ["Wonderful Virus" - their debut] in no way hints at the leaps and bounds through which the band seems to have grown, or the unexpected paths "Reloaded" takes".
Finally, 30 years later, "Reloaded" is being reissued, remastered on white vinyl. The missing status on wax has been corrected, and "Reloaded" is ready to be put on the turntable.
