With "Stop And Listen" in 1961, Hammond-B3 organist Baby Face Willette created an album that no soul jazz collection should be without. Especially as it was also Willette's last and best recording for Blue Note.
Critics often mention this classic in the same breath as Grant Green's Blue Note debut "Grant's First Stand", which had been recorded shortly before with exactly the same line-up.
