T-Bone Burnett [CD]

T-Bone Burnett, from Texas, is celebrated for his producing work for Gillian Welch, Roy Orbison, Counting Crows and Elvis Costello. in 1986, he released his fifth album. This self-titled country-folk gem shows his catchy and pleasing style at its best, making T-Bone Burnett's best album. Burnett received numerous awards and nominations throughout his career. He was nominated twice for an Oscar, in 2004 together with Elvis Costello for the song The Scarlet Tide from On the Way to Cold Mountain and in 2010 together with Ryan Bingham for The Weary Kind from Crazy Heart. The latter song earned him a Golden Globe and an Oscar. He has also won several Grammy awards for his producing work.
