Tesla [Blu-ray]

Ethan Hawke stars as inventor Nikola Tesla in this biographical drama directed by Michael Almereyda. In the late 19th century, Tesla unveils his novel system of electrical energy using alternate currents. Hoping to transform the way the world works, Tesla works with rival inventor Thomas Edison (Kyle MacLachlan), who initially lambasts Tesla's system as impractical and dangerous, entrepreneur George Westinghouse (Jim Gaffigan) and financier JP Morgan (Donnie Keshawarz), but his visionary ideas for worldwide wireless electrical power fail to make an impact during his lifetime.
