John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd star in this musical action comedy co-written and directed by John Landis. Blood brothers Jake and Elwood Blues (Belushi and Aykroyd) are on a mission to save the orphanage where they were raised from closure. As they attempt to get their old band back together and stage a fundraising concert, they find themselves pursued by the Chicago police, a gang of neo-Nazis, a country music band and Jake's wrathful ex-fiancée.
The cast also includes Carrie Fisher, James Brown, Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles.
