The album *Give The People What They Want*, first released in 1981, continued the Kinks’ success of the early 1980s with their direct, guitar-driven sound and pointed, contemporary themes. As one of their most successful albums in the U.S., it features standout tracks such as “Destroyer,” “Better Things,” and “Around The Dial.”
This 2026 edition has been remastered from the original sources and offers improved clarity, definition, and balance, while preserving the character and energy of the original mixes.
