China Forbes, the beloved lead singer of the globe-trotting "little orchestra" Pink Martini, releases her first solo album in 15 years with 11 brand new original songs. Forbes has toured the world with Pink Martini for over 25 years and has performed on the world's most prestigious stages, including the Hollywood Bowl and Carnegie Hall.

On her new album, she returns to her singer-songwriter roots and shares a journey of autobiographical songs. Forbes received the "Ella Fitzgerald Award 2022" at the Montreal Jazz Festival. Previous winners include Diana Ross, Etta James and Aretha Franklin. On the album, the singer is accompanied by Thomas Lauderdale, the Pink Martini bandleader, among others.
