Marilyn Monroe and Tom Ewell star in this classic drama directed and co-written by Billy Wilder. Happily married Richard Sherman (Ewell) remains in New York City while his wife and child go to Maine for the summer. However, when a beautiful young woman (Monroe) moves into the apartment upstairs, Richard's imagination begins to run wild with possibilities.
The cast also includes Evelyn Keyes, Sonny Tufts and Robert Strauss.
