By the end of the 1980s, R&B and soul were an integral part of pop culture. However, the most honest homage to the origins of these genres was delivered by the British group The Pasadenas, whose music was based on 1950s doo-wop, 1960s Motown and 1970s funk and R&B. The single "Enchanted Lady", for example, was an ode to Smokey Robinson and could easily have been mistaken for the original.

Now her debut album "To Whom It May Concern" is finally available again, and for the first time on colored vinyl. The album's biggest hit was "Tribute (Right On)", which took Europe by storm in the summer of 1988. The album was also a huge success, selling over a million copies.
