On Tony Rice's self-titled album, released in 1977, the bluegrass guitar virtuoso plays traditional pieces, standards and his interpretation of contemporary melodies. This album was one of the early pioneers of the New Acoustic genre, combining bluegrass, jazz, classical and more. This pressing has been remastered from the original tapes by Kevin Gray of Cohearent Audio and showcases Rice's guitar artistry like never before.
