The Grammy-nominated nu-metal band around singer Paul "Sonny" Sandoval, which has been showered with platinum awards, is releasing "When Angels & Serpents Dance," its first album in four years. The quartet, which won the "Echo" in the category "Best International Alternative Act" in 2003, can finally fall back on its old guitarist Marcos Curiel

You can hear that, because on "When Angels & Serpents Dance" P.O.D. find back to their old power: from the cutting guitars on "Addicted" over the monumental "End Of The World" to the grimmest track of the album, the impetuous "Like Old Times" However, P.O.D. also present their softer side on songs like "Rain Everyday" and ask about the meaning of war in the ballad "Tell Me Why". The album features a number of guests such as Mike Muir (Suicidal Tendencies), the Marley Sisters and Page Hamilton (Helmet).
