The 3-LP set includes a newly remastered stereo version of the nine studio tracks from "Wheels Of Fire". Originally released in 1968 using CSG-edited recordings, this newly remastered version, stripped of CSG, now presents the album phase-corrected and delivers the recordings with greater detail and clarity of sound.
Also included is a newly remastered mono version of the studio album. This mono version, taken from the personal reference tapes of the late Cream producer Felix Pappalardi, has never been released before.
The set also includes a newly compiled rarities collection of 11 rare recordings, eight of which are previously unreleased. These include early versions, alternative mixes and single versions. Highlights of this collection include "White Room (Early Version Mono Mix)" and "Deserted Cities Of The Heart (Mono Rough Mix / No Strings)" as well as six further alternative stereo and mono mixes.
This release on 180g heavyweight black vinyl is presented in a gatefold sleeve with a metallic Pantone finish.
