In Colour (Strictly Limited 10th Anniversary Edition) (Picture Disc) [LP]

Jamie Smith, aka Jamie XX, is a producer, sound tinkerer and a real likeable guy. We know the shy Brit as the mastermind responsible for the beats in The XX. "In Colour" is his wonderful debut album, which was created over a period of more than six years. Again and again Smith repeatedly interrupted work on his solo album to design beats for the band's album, make mixes for Adele, Radiohead or Florence & The Machine or to produce songs by Drake and Alicia Keys. He also completely reinterpreted Gil Scott Heron's last studio album and thus created a posthumous memorial to the deceased artist.

For his solo album, he collaborated with his The-XX colleagues Oliver Sim ("Stranger in A Room") and Romy Madley Croft ("Seesaw" and "Loud Places"). Young Thug and Popcaan can also be heard on perhaps the most unusual track on the album, "Good Times". As a member of The XX, Jamie celebrated great success worldwide, with both albums also achieving gold status in Germany.

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of "In Color", Jamie xx's 2015 debut, the London-based producer and DJ is announcing a limited edition picture disc version of the LP. The iconic cover artwork of the album, originally released on May 29, 2015, can be found directly on the LP in the 10th Anniversary Edition.
