Experience the fascinating world of composer and pianist Ryuichi Sakamoto with "Opus". The album was compiled by the composer himself - he died in March 2023. Spanning decades of his groundbreaking work, this anthology brings together iconic film scores, classics from the Yellow Magic Orchestra and deeply personal compositions that reflect Sakamoto's unmistakable musical voice.

The program includes music for Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, Andata and Aqua, complemented by previously unreleased works such as For Jóhann (a tribute to Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson), BB (dedicated to film director Bernardo Bertolucci) and 20180219 (with prepared piano).

Presented in a luxurious digipak made of high-quality black cardboard with black foil embossing and silver-colored text, the CD edition contains expressive black and white photographs showing Sakamoto during the performance of "Opus".
