Experience the fascinating world of composer and pianist Ryuichi Sakamoto with "Opus", a benchmark vinyl collection. The album was curated by himself - he died in March 2023. Spanning decades of groundbreaking work, this 4-LP set brings together iconic film scores, classics from the Yellow Magic Orchestra and deeply personal compositions that reflect Sakamoto's distinctive musical voice. Highlights include music for Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, Andata and Aqua, complemented by previously unreleased works such as for Jóhann (a tribute to Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson), BB (dedicated to film director Bernardo Bertolucci) and 20180219 (with prepared piano).

Pressed for 45 RPM on four 180g vinyl records for exceptional fidelity, each LP is housed in its own sleeve with matching black paper inner sleeves. The set is presented in a handcrafted, textured slipcase with elegant black foil detailing and also includes a collector's booklet with work notes and credits. "Opus" is more than a retrospective - it is the final legacy of one of the most influential composers of our time.
