Polaris stands for great straight-in-your-face metalcore with stunning vocals and fat melodies! The quintet from South Sydney has built up a whole army of supporters through three years of tireless touring, writing and recording on their own.

For the recording of their full-length debut "The Mortal Coil", Polaris brought the American duo Carson Slovak and Grant MacFarland into the studio, who also recently produced and mixed the Grammy-nominated album by August Burns Red!

"The Mortal Coil" is the debut studio album from Australian metalcore band POLARIS. The album was originally released in 2017 via SharpTone Records and was nominated for an ARIA Award in the category "Best Hard Rock or Heavy Metal Album". Until this re-release of "The Mortal Coil" in 2025, POLARIS has released two more albums, "The Death of Me" (2020) and "Fatalism" (2023).
