Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have been shaping the pop landscape as the Pet Shop Boys for an incredible 43 years. Their worldwide hits such as "West End Girls", "It's A Sin" and "Go West" are still on the radio every day, decades after their release. And with over 100 million records sold worldwide, the electro-poppers are one of the most successful duos in music history.

in 2024, the Pet Shop Boys release their new album "Nonetheless". Tennant and Lowe have teamed up with successful producer James Ford, who, alongside Blur and the Gorillaz, also created the perfect sound for the last Depeche Mode album. The ten brand new tracks were recorded and mixed in Ford's studio in London last year.

The music on "Nonetheless" is both uplifting and reflective. The songs feature a mixture of electronics, live instruments and orchestral arrangements. As you would expect from the Pet Shop Boys, the focus is on strong melodies and their unmistakable songwriting, which they combine with a fresh, open mind for new approaches. The first singles "Loneliness" and "Dancing Star" are prime examples of this, sounding innovative and yet 100% like Tennant and Lowe.
