To mark the 100th anniversary of Sergei Eisenstein's legendary silent film "Battleship Potemkin", the celebrated film music by Tennant and Lowe of the Pet Shop Boys is being released on a remastered CD.
Performed on September 12, 2004 at a free live outdoor screening in London's Trafalgar Square in front of an audience of around 25,000, the Pet Shop Boys' music combines electronic beats with orchestral splendor to create a stirring contemporary cinematic experience.
